THE NAIL BAR

A five-metre long nail bar and a luxury pedicure area were custom designed for the space.  The length of the nail bar is echoed by the long rectilinear light fittings above the worktop, while the pedicure area features softer light for maximum relaxation.  Comfortable custom made armchairs were ergonomically designed to allow clients to bathe their feet in shallow foot-baths, while the therapists sit on green turf cushions that were inspired from the natural ingredients of the products used in the treatments.   The natural light flooding in from the large apertures is exploited, with clients facing the large windows during their treatments.

Storage was given priority, with a wall of mirrored cupboards that are interspersed with a row of monitors that are used for both entertainment and marketing purposes.   Form and function work together in a space that was custom designed to ensure both client comfort and the comfort of the therapists.
