Our brief is to transform this traditional family home into a contemporary space which fully exploits the interior. Our concept is to radically change the layout of the interior, creating an open plan space and moving the bedrooms from the back of the house so that the small garden can be enjoyed from the new kitchen, living room. Our proposals also include knocking through the back wall to create a large doorway that will flood the living room with sunlight and warmth.
The back garden has been designed as an extension to the living space allowing ample space for two special little princesses to play. At night, floor lights add sparkle to the pots, while twinkling lights add a touch of magic to the foliage, creating a relaxing entertainment area for family and friends.
White, taupe and teal have been used throughout the space, with aged timber featuring in the kitchen and living room. The kitchen has been designed to include a large island with ample storage space and an extensive worktop for family cooking.
